On Monday, May 5, at 9:26am,
Security took a report of a suspicious person who had been in Millikan Library on Saturday, May 3. The reporting party advised officers that an unidentified male attempted to take ten library books out of the library. When the reporting party stopped the suspect, they discovered that the barcodes had been torn off of the books. The suspect left the area without further incident and all of the books were recovered.
On Monday, May 5, at 6:33pm,
Security responded to a fire alarm at 348 S. Catalina Ave. Officers conducted a sweep of the building and found that the alarm had been set off by burned food. Officers ventilated the area and reset the fire system.
On Tuesday, May 6, at 8:10am,
Security took a report of a burglary at Church. The victim advised Officers that a pressure relief valve assembly had been partially disassembled. The victim stated that brass and copper components of the assembly that had significant value had been stolen. The Pasadena Police Department was contacted and the victim filed a police report.
On Tuesday, May 6, at 12:05pm,
Security responded to a medical incident at Spaulding Lab. The victim declined to be transported for further medical treatment.
On Tuesday, May 6, at 12:47pm,
Security responded to a medical incident at Page House. The victim was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment.
On Tuesday, May 6, at 3:40pm,
Security responded to an intrusion alarm at 516 S. Catalina Ave. Officers conducted a perimeter check and a sweep of the interior and found nothing suspect. The alarm panel was reset.
On Friday, May 9, at 9:15am,
Security responded to a medical incident at Broad Center. The victim was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment.
On Saturday, May 10, at 1:33am,
Security responded to a fire alarm at Ricketts House. Officers conducted a sweep of the building and found that the alarm had been set off by steam from a broken steam pipe. The Service Mechanic and a Caltech Fire Alarm Technician were notified for repair.

Security responded to an intrusion alarm at 60 N. Sunnyslope. Officers conducted a perimeter check and a sweep of the interior and found nothing suspect. The alarm panel was reset.
On Sunday, May 11, at 11:44am,
Security responded to a fire alarm in SAC. Officers conducted a sweep of the building but were unable to determine the cause of the activation. Officers reset the fire system.
On Sunday, May 11, at 5:02pm,
Security took a report of a bicycle theft at Millikan Library. The victim advised Officers that he had locked his bicycle with a cable-style lock at 11:00am the same day. He stated that when he went back to get the bicycle at 4:45pm, he noticed that his bicycle was stolen and the cable lock cut.
