Caltech is committed to ensuring the safety and security of its community. This 2023 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report not only provides crime and fire statistics for calendar year 2022, but also details Caltech's crime-prevention and safety-related services and programs, as well as the resources Caltech has developed to educate and empower current and prospective students and employees.
Although it is published in response to federal requirements, maintaining a safe environment for the free and open exchange of ideas is very much part of the Institute's mission and reflects its values.
