Earlier, we notified the community that Pasadena Police had responded to campus to consult on and evaluate a reported threat. Campus and law enforcement have completed their evaluation and determined there is no danger to the campus community.

Thank you for your attention to the matter. As always, if you notice anything unusual, please contact Campus Security at 626-395-5000.

Original Notification: 10:25 a.m.
The Pasadena Police Department will be responding to campus today to consult on and evaluate a new unconfirmed threat that was called into Caltech Security this morning. Law enforcement's presence on campus is preventative and precautionary.

Campus operations remain undisrupted and as scheduled.
