About Caltech Security

Campus security at Caltech is maintained by a professional staff of trained security personnel. Officers and staff maintain a variety of professional certifications, including Emergency Medical Technician, National Incident Management System (NIMS), Rape Aggression Defense System (RAD), and others.

The administrative offices for Security—open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays—are located on Wilson Avenue, in the same building as the Caltech Credit Union. Enter using the stairway at the back of the building.
